the High Place

  Creating this mini serious for my prophetic folks! there will be highs and lows in everyone's walk of faith, yet PROPHETS tend to have a unique journey. So I think its' my duty to speak on this and help the millions of prophets coming behind me. First let me say that your unique journey will be filled with MANY lows, that's the nature of the call, but let me share some truths with you, to both prepare and help you through. 

I love the mountains-so many times I have taken trips and find myself just standing and staring out over a mountain view. It's breathtaking, its still, its peaceful-this is my HIGH PLACE.  In the bible there are countless mentions of mountains and even Jesus himself would find moments to pray in 'high' atmospheres to his dad. Every prophet needs to have a spiritual and natural HIGH PLACE. It takes time to seek out this place but make sure it's a priority. 

    Prophets suffer much persecution as they journey to be who God ordained them to be. It can be frustrating at times to try and embrace all that God is showing and speaking to you, while being rejected and questioned by others.  It's in the dark moments, lonely hours, that a prophet must learn to take refuge in the HIGH PLACE.  This is the place where you and God develop intimate channels of connection. It's the place of affirmation and reassurance. It's the true place where you can really really be you and be accepted!

  The bible says if you SEEK, you will find. Might I encourage you in love today to SEEK out your high place. Seek is deeper than looking, it requires levels and going beneath surfaces. Seek in prayer, this means pray until it stops hurting, pray until you're clear on the answer. Seek in scriptures, this means study until your eyes hurt, study until the scriptures float in your head all day and you are excited to search out the word even more . Seek in love, this means to let the motives of your heart be pure and flow out of love. IF you are seeking God for selfish and prideful reasons you're wasting time. Dive deep to navigate His heart until yours matches His.

     Maybe you've never done this before, get excited for a new journey. Maybe you've fell from your high place, now is a good time to return. It's time to go higher, and really hear from God's heart and that starts at the HIGH PLACE. Take time, make time, be away from time and be consistent in visiting your high place. Take a deep breathe, thank God for it and fall to your knees. Remember that we prophecy out of our relationship with God, so making time to commune with God must be top priority for a prophet. You will feel alone my friend, but you're not! God is calling you up to the HIGH PLACE, are you coming??
